Helping Young Car Enthusiasts Become Classic Car Technicians.
It’s not a lack of interest that keeps young people from skilled trade careers as classic car technicians, it’s a lack of access. The Piston Foundation helps young car enthusiasts turn their interest into a career. The car community needs new technicians to move the classic car workforce from graying to growing. Piston's career initiative helps them get the education, training, and job opportunities they need to unlock these in-demand careers.
About The Piston Foundation
The Piston Foundation is an independent non-profit helping young car enthusiasts start careers as classic car technicians. The Foundation provides tech-school scholarships, supports shops and aspiring technicians with apprenticeships, and advocates for skilled trade careers in automotive restoration. We are funded solely by the generous gifts of our donors and partners, and we work for the car enthusiast community.
